Electronics Technician
Description:  Job Title: Electronics Technician
Pay Rate: $25-30/hr
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Location: Round Rock, TX (ONSITE)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Work 8 hours within this timeframe)

Job Summary:
The Electronics Technician will test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic assemblies and subassemblies in a shop environment, including Matching Networks, RF Generators, and DC Power Supplies. This role requires the ability to interpret block diagrams and electronic schematics while diagnosing and repairing complex electronic systems. The technician is expected to demonstrate strong technical aptitude, electronic troubleshooting ability, and the capability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Job Responsibilities:
* Test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic assemblies and subassemblies including Matching Networks, RF Generators, and DC Power Supplies.
* Interpret electronic schematics, block diagrams, and technical documentation to diagnose failures.
* Utilize test equipment such as power supplies, digital voltmeters (DVM), oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers during troubleshooting and repair processes.
* Repair high-complexity electronic assemblies down to the component level.
* Perform soldering and de-soldering of various electronic components as required for repair activities.
* Calibrate, repair, and test customer equipment while maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality.
* Document work clearly and communicate findings effectively with team members and supervisors.
* Ensure compliance with quality assurance policies and procedures.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
* Follow all safety standards including the proper use of ESD and other safety protective equipment.

Required Qualifications:
* Associate"s degree (AA/AS) in Electronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and technical experience.
* Technical background in electronics troubleshooting and repair.
* Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical diagrams.
* Experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, DVMs, and spectrum analyzers.
* Ability to troubleshoot failures using technical knowledge, test equipment, and practical experience.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities.
* Valid driver"s license required by date of hire.

* Computer systems and diagnostic software
* Electronic test equipment (oscilloscope, DVM, spectrum analyzer, power supplies)
* Soldering and de-soldering tools
* Electronic analyzers and hand tools
* Safety equipment and ESD protection devices
