An NX CAD Design Lead job in St. Louis, MO is currently available at Belcan. This individual will play a pivotal role in leading design projects, ensuring quality, and driving innovation. The ideal candidate has prior experience working with Boeing, possesses strong leadership capabilities, and can navigate a fast-paced aerospace environment.
Job Duties:
· Lead and manage NX CAD design projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
· Prepare and review Model-Based Definitions (MBD) to ensure compliance with project specifications.
· Analyze and interpret blueprints to guide design processes.
· Oversee and document Record of Salvage Actions (RoSAs).
· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the design team.
· Ensure adherence to all Boeing and Aerospace industry standards and company protocols.
Required Qualifications:
· Prior Boeing experience is mandatory.
· Demonstrated leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing teams or leading projects.
· Proficiency in Siemens NX CAD software.
· Strong understanding of blueprints and aerospace manufacturing processes.
· Experience in preparing and reviewing MBD documentation.
· Familiarity with RoSAs.
· Active or eligible for Secret Security Clearance.
· Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
· Due to the nature of the work performed, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
· Knowledge of advanced design methodologies in the aerospace sector.
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $83,200 to $104,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
