JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position Summary
We are seeking a temporary Accounts Payable Specialist to support a busy accounting team during a short-term leave coverage period. This individual will assist with core AP functions and help maintain day-to-day workflow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Training will be provided, but the ideal candidate should be able to step in quickly and contribute with minimal ramp-up.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform three-way matching
* Process PO and non-PO invoices
* Enter and maintain invoice data in the ERP system
* Monitor incoming AP email/invoice activity
* Make and apply supplier deposits
* Run and review aging reports
* Follow up on open items, approvals, receipts, and unmatched transactions
* Support general Accounts Payable workflow and month-end close activity
Qualifications
* Prior Accounts Payable experience required
* Strong understanding of:
o Three-way matching
o PO vs non-PO invoices
o Aging reports
o Sub-ledger / AP fundamentals
* Experience working in an ERP system
* Basic Excel skills
* Manufacturing or distribution environment experience preferred
* Must be able to work 100% onsite
Additional Requirements
* Must qualify as a U.S. Person due to site requirements
* Must be comfortable working in a deadline-driven accounting environment

Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains); Microsoft Excel
