JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our client is looking for an Integration and Test 3 to support programs within their Connectivity and Network Solutions (CNS) Business Unit (BU). This position will serve on-site at San Diego, CA.
Shift Time: 8am-5pm; 9/80 A Schedule
Responsibilities:
*Maintain processes and procedures for the assembly and test of spacecraft, aircraft and/or related equipment.
*Coordinate integration activities with supervisors, program engineers and various customer organizations.
*Document and disposition hardware discrepancies and pursuing root cause and corrective actions. *Design and developing tooling to aid in the integration and test process.
*Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking, problem solving skills and Systems Thinking mindset.
*Excellent decision making and communication (written and oral) skills.
*Strong work ethic and the ability to work in an integrated product team (IPT) environment.
*Ability and willingness to work independently with little oversight or direction.
*Advanced troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
*Ability to obtain and maintain a minimum of a Secret Clearance with additional customer specified clearance prior to start.
Preferred Qualifications for Integration and Test 3 /Basic qualifications plus:
*Experience in an integration and test environment for complex electronic systems evaluation.
*Experience performing Design Verification Tests, Environmental Qualification Testing, and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Qualification Testing
*Working knowledge of DOORS and Verification Cross Reference Matrices.
*Working knowledge of the following specialty areas: EOIR systems, sensors, optics.
*Experience with Model Based Engineering (MBE) concepts and tools. (Cameo)
*Knowledge of MATLAB, C, C++, Java, Python, or other scripting languages.
*Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance.
*Ability and willingness to travel.
Basic Qualifications for Integration and Test 3:
5 Years with bachelor's in science or
3 Years with master's or
1 Year with PhD
