Job Summary:

The Help Desk Administrator supports daily IT operations by providing technical assistance, system coordination, and basic security support across end-user and infrastructure environments. This role focuses on troubleshooting, system maintenance, and assisting with network and security initiatives, while ensuring compliance with organizational standards, safety practices, and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support to end users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues
* Assist Service Management team with re-IP"ing laptops and managing DHCP (Dynamic Host * * Configuration Protocol) reservations
* Perform Active Directory user support, including account coordination, troubleshooting, and directory cleanup
* Conduct web application scanning to identify vulnerabilities and security gaps
* Scan servers and systems to identify issues and generate remediation task lists
* Assist in developing action plans to remediate identified system and security issues
* Support efforts to resolve identified vulnerabilities and system deficiencies
* Document processes, findings, and resolutions clearly and accurately
* Collaborate with internal teams to support infrastructure and security-related initiatives
* Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies, procedures, and standards
* Perform all tasks safely, complying with internal and external safety requirements
* Support organizational safety culture, attend required safety training, and complete compliance training as required
* Uphold organizational core values (CARES: Community, Actions, Reliability, Excellence, Safety)

Required Qualifications:
* Associate"s degree preferred in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
* Basic understanding of IT systems, networking, and end-user support principles
* Familiarity with Active Directory and user account management
* Understanding of networking concepts such as IP addressing and DHCP
* Exposure to basic cybersecurity concepts, including vulnerability scanning and remediation
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Ability to plan, organize, and manage time effectively
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

* Active Directory and user management tools
* Endpoint devices (laptops, desktops, peripherals)
* Networking tools and systems (DHCP, IP management)
* Vulnerability scanning and web application scanning tools
* Ticketing and service management systems
* General IT support and diagnostic tools
