Job Summary:
Belcan is seeking 2 energetic Flight Line Service Mechanics to support retrofit and post-flight inspection activities onsite at a customer facility. This role involves hands-on mechanical work on aircraft engine components, following detailed work instructions, and ensuring accurate job tracking in a team-oriented environment.
Available Shifts:
* 1 Mechanic: Friday - Sunday | 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
* 1 Mechanic: Monday - Thursday | 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
* Remove and replace major engine components and assemblies on the flight line
* Perform post-flight inspections in accordance with technical manuals
* Execute retrofit modifications, including drilling into composite and metal structures
* Replace valves, ducting, and other engine build components
* Maintain accurate work logs and time tracking for all tasks
* Follow written work instructions and planning documentation
Required Qualifications
* Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification required
* Hands-on mechanical experience in aerospace or aviation maintenance
* Ability to drill, grind, and install/remove rivets (solid and blind)
* Experience working with composite and metallic structures
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
* Familiarity with engine component assembly (valves, ducting, etc.)
* Basic computer skills (Outlook or similar)
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment
* Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
* Background in aerospace fabrication, flight line, or modification work
