JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for coordinating procurement needs for the electrical and mechanical installation of the field team to ensure on time delivery of equipment and materials for project locations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Reviews and processes material requests from field team.
* Coordinate equipment rentals, and other requests from field team.
* Ensure suppliers meet quality standards and delivery deadlines.
* Manage and monitor purchase orders, working in conjunction with purchasing team.
* Track shipments and resolve any issues that may arise during the procurement process.
* Monitor each project budget and alert team of any overages.
* Follow proper material ordering procedures.
* Maintain documentation and files according to procedures.
* Receive packing slips against purchase orders and invoices in QuickBooks.
* Anticipate and resolve problems as they arise.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Requires being able to respond to problem situations in a timely manner.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to work in dynamic and changing environments.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
* 2+ years in a related position
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office technology
* Legally authorized to work in the United States
* Ability to obtain facility security clearance as needed.
