Job Title: Advisor - Senior Leader / Consultant
Location: remote / travel within domestic U.S.
Subcontract agreement (1099; LLC preferred)
Shift: Flexible as needed (dedicated upon deployment)
Deployment: project deployment to customer locations as needed
Pay Range: $3,000 to 5,000 per week when deployed
Position Overview:
As a subcontracted advisor through Belcan, you will deploy to our customers and/or suppliers as needed to support projects related to strategic manufacturing and supply chain leadership and consulting. Great matching candidates will have strong manufacturing and supply chain leadership and supervisory skills capable of driving measurable solutions and outcomes for clients. In this job, you will be on site at customers and/or customer suppliers working to assess, mitigate, consult, identify, and administer outcomes. The Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively across all levels within the organization are critical and expected.
As critical project issues and needs for improvements or crisis intervention arise, this job will deploy to those customers. This job is a flexible, subcontract 1099 or LLC status. Great matching candidates will have strong manufacturing and supply chain experiences capable of both reporting and creating measurable solutions and outcomes for clients. This job requires the ability to develop and lead proactively through problem solving to demonstrate value creation.
Core job duties:
· Provide leadership and expertise in planning, organizing, coordinating and running optimum day-to-day operations to exceed customer expectations.
· Responsible for managing the utilization of equipment, facilities, and personnel to obtain maximum efficiency and meet performance objectives.
· Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods and coordination of people and resources is needed.
· Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining.
· Responsible for production output, product quality, and on time shipping.
· Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
· Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus plant wide.
· Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.
· Monitor all internal systems for accuracy and compliance with company rules, standards, expectations, and applicable laws.
· Controls significant manufacturing projects, plans and schedules facility assignments, and sets priorities.
· Supports all cross-functional teams to proactively develop product and service solutions.
· Prepares budgets for approval, including those for funding and implementation of programs.
· Analyzes technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
Qualifications:
· Must possess thorough knowledge of product and production processes.
· Experiences with increased responsibility and management in any of the following aspects: manufacturing facility management, supply chain, production, plant management, operations, etc.
· Ability to communicate effectively with all key stake holders, managers, and experts at various levels.
· Proven ability to work with cross functional teams and in a project management environment.
· Can identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
· Previous experience/best practices implementing and using continuous improvement/lean tools such as Six Sigma, 5S, Lean Manufacturing.
· Past experiences as one of the following: Top Consultant, Production Manager, Plant Manager, Vice President, Strategic Subject Matter Expert, Operations Leader, Quality Manager, Materials Manager, etc.
