Responsibilities:
* Perform detailed product inspections on in-process and finished goods, including but not limited to First Article Inspections.
* Document characteristics of products accurately and with technical detail.
* Initiate Quality Notifications for any non-conforming products.
* Apply quality assurance procedures and requirements for the inspection of assemblies and to document findings.
* Identify any potential quality issues early and help to prevent their re-occurrence.
* Communicate effectively to other Collins Aerospace personnel any quality issues needing resolution.
* Monitor and utilize calibrated measuring instruments.
* Safely Preform other duties as assigned
* Scan completed documents into our electronic records management system.
Qualifications You Must Have:
* HS diploma or GED is typically required.
* Knowledge of basic computer software (word, excel and outlook).
Qualification's :
* Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages to the 4th decimal point.
* Experience performing manufacturing or product inspections using blueprints and specifications.
* Experience performing measurements with Precision measurement tools, such as micrometers and calipers.
* The ability to utilize computer systems including input of data and retrieval of information for inspections and configuration purposes.
* The ability to review documents and to identify and resolve any errors or missing information.
* Ability to use operating software including SAP
* 3+ years in an Aerospace or similar inspection role
