Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical expertise in composite and non-metallic materials used in aerospace applications.
Evaluate and select materials for new product development and manufacturing processes.
Support production and repair activities involving composite structures and bonded assemblies.
Investigate material-related failures and develop corrective actions.

Review and approve material specifications, test plans, and engineering reports.
Support qualification and certification activities for new materials and manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve technical issues.
Provide guidance on processing, inspection, and repair of composite and non-metallic components.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to material performance and manufacturing efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Materials Engineering.
Candidates with Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or Chemistry backgrounds may also be considered.

Minimum 5+ years of experience working with composite materials and non-metallic systems.
Strong knowledge of:
Fibre-reinforced composites
Thermoset and thermoplastic materials
Adhesives and structural bonding
Sealants and resin systems
Non-metallic to metallic joining methods
Injection molding
Compression molding
Stamp forming processes

Preferred Qualifications:

Aerospace industry experience.

Experience supporting manufacturing and production environments.
Knowledge of materials testing and failure analysis.
Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
