Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Mass Media Operator to join a precision manufacturing team supporting aerospace and industrial production operations. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring equipment within the Mud, Trim, Tumbling, and Saw production areas. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to inspect parts, maintain quality standards, and operate equipment safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate Mud, Tumbling, Trim, and Saw equipment according to work instructions, travelers, operation sheets, and production requirements.
* Monitor equipment performance and ensure proper machine operation throughout the production process.
* Maintain appropriate media sizes, mixtures, and process conditions within mud and tumbling operations.
* Inspect part surfaces after processing to verify quality and surface finish requirements.
* Utilize proper fixtures and tooling during loading and unloading operations.
* Count and verify parts to ensure quantities match traveler documentation and production requirements.
* Verify heat code materials are properly identified, separated, and tracked throughout production.
* Set up and operate trim machines while ensuring proper fixture selection and cutting requirements are met.
* Inspect materials and fixtures to confirm proper sizing and operation before processing.
* Load and unload parts into hydraulic and mechanical fixtures while ensuring proper alignment and seating.
* Perform dimensional inspections using gauges, measuring tools, and operation sheets.
* Set up and operate saw equipment while monitoring blade condition and replacing blades as required.
* Verify proper material sizing and cutting specifications throughout saw operations.
* Maintain accurate production, inspection, and process records.
* Inspect completed work and maintain tight tolerances to ensure compliance with customer and quality requirements.
* Utilize gauges and precision measuring instruments to verify part conformance.
* Perform multiple tasks and support production activities across multiple manufacturing areas.
* Detect and report defective materials, equipment issues, and unusual production concerns to supervision.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
* Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing regulations.
* Perform additional duties and support activities as assigned by supervision.

Required Qualifications:
* High School diploma or GED required.
* Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience.
* Experience working in a manufacturing, machining, or production environment.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, travelers, and work instructions.
* Strong shop math skills and mechanical aptitude.
* Experience using gauges and precision measuring instruments.
* Ability to inspect work and maintain tight tolerances.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
* Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as required.
* Willingness to wear required PPE including safety glasses, safety shoes, and hearing protection.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience operating tumbling, trimming, sawing, or material finishing equipment.
* Experience in aerospace, precision machining, or metal manufacturing environments.
* Familiarity with hydraulic and mechanical fixtures.
* Experience maintaining production records and process documentation.
* Knowledge of quality inspection procedures and manufacturing best practices.
* Experience working with heat code material traceability requirements.
* Ability to work independently while supporting team production goals.
