Role and Responsibilities:

* During all phases of production, the Field Service Technical Leader provides information to the onsite team as needed but operates independently, ensuring tasks are completed within the required timeframe
* Demonstrate effective communication on technical activities, needs, and statuses, and ensures fluency between shifts.
* Make technical decisions based on available technical data and communicate these decisions to Senior Field Service Engineer and/or Field Service Engineering team leader.
* Oversee, inspect, and provide technical 'sign off' as required, for any engine related work performed by the Technician team and in close coordination with the FSE team.
* Coordinate with Production, Quality, Procurement, and/or Logistics personnel on a daily basis ensuring resources, equipment, and tooling are available, so work is carried out in timely manner.
* Coordinate and follow up on technical dispositions required on Nexcelle owned hardware, with the dedicated on-site representative.
* Engage independently with and address technical inquiries related to turbine engines, ensuring all external communication aligns with contingent worker policies and is routed through the designated representative when necessary.
* Maintain accurate records of all work performed within the Quality 'Intervention' reporting system.
* Provide input on quality investigations as necessary but will not directly manage or oversee investigations, ensuring independence from internal processes.
* Issue work orders/engineering dispositions to Technician team and/or coordinate/execute/oversee work scopes.
* Implement corrective actions through Daily Management for major maintenance activities or engine-caused disruptions, as necessary.
* Respond to technical inquiries from customers independently but route non-technical or business-related inquiries through the designated representative.
* Provide after-hours support as necessary to meet delivery demand.
* Respond to non-technical customer inquiries, in close coordination with Senior FSE and/or onsite team lead.
* Assist with production parts/logistics, in coordination with the logistics manager and the onsite GE team for parts ordering, configuration management, scrapping, and repair, as necessary.
* Provide information and input on issues affecting production.
* Attend meetings as necessary to provide technical input
* Manage local spare part/tooling inventory, including import/export issues.

Knowledge and Skills:
* Fluency in the Microsoft basic suite of software tools on a daily basis (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) in addition to the ability to learn and work within multiple online digital tools.
* Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Ability to lead complex maintenance work scopes on turbine engines.
* Maintain a safe work environment, product integrity, and compliance within policies.
* Subject Matter Expert (SME) in turbine engine maintenance and operation.
* Coordinate work scopes on engines
* Provide Quality Management: NOE/QEM Management.
* Provide EIS Support (customer setups).
* Provide backup support for FSEs and assist customer support team, as necessary.
* Handle engineering disposition requests as required.
* Maintain AOG responsiveness at airframer.
* Diplomatically navigate through volatile and potentially contentious issues.
* The Field Service Technical Leader must be self-motivated and team oriented. Must be able to develop an efficient and effective working relationship with the Technician workforce.
* Provide technical input for MRB dispositions and buy-offs under quality system but will not directly manage or oversee these processes, ensuring independence from internal quality systems:



Desired Qualifications
* Relevant experience with Engine Systems Engineering, Field Service Engineering, Flight Test aircraft, Production Support, and/or Product Support Engineering in Aviation/Aerospace Engine Systems.
