A Field Support position is currently available for our México Aerospace Team. This role would support a project based in Toronto, Canada, with one of our key aerospace clients.
This position may be Monday through Sunday, 40 hours per week. Overtime may be authorized and performed as necessary.
Job Duties:
- Provides information to the onsite team, as needed
- Operates independently
- Ensures tasks are completed within required timeframes
- Provides excellent verbal and written communication
- Demonstrates effective communication on technical activities, needs, and statuses. As well as ensures fluency between shifts
- Demonstrate proficiency using client manuals and approved technical data
- Makes technical decisions based on available technical data and communicates these decisions to Senior Field Service Engineer and/or Field Service Engineering team leader while ensuring independence in execution
- Maintains accurate records of all work performed within the Quality 'Intervention' reporting system
- Provides information and input on issues affecting production
- Performs daily tasks using Microsoft basic suite (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Learns and works within multiple online digital tools
- Reads and interprets technical drawings.
- Maintains a safe work environment, product integrity, and compliance within policies.
- Provides Quality Management: NOE/QEM Management
- Provides backup support for FSEs and assist customer support team, as necessary
- Handles engineering disposition requests as required
- Maintains AOG responsiveness at airframer
- Provide technical input for MRB dispositions and buy-offs under clients' quality system
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or a related technical field/specialty
- Willingness to work in Mississauga, ON and/or Breslau, ON
- Fluency in the Microsoft basic suite (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings
- Familiarity with regulatory and quality standards applicable to the aerospace industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Must be self-motivated and team oriented
- Able to develop an efficient and effective working relationship with multiple clients and teams
- Bilingual: Spanish / English
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- GE, Safran or other Aerospace industry relevant experience
