Molecular Research Associate Senior duties:
Run complex sequencing applications
Preform high throughput or custom molecular techniques handling RNA and gene expression
Extract high quality RNA and deliver gene characterization (RACE)
Track work using LIMS
Run cDNA synthesis, RNA isolation, RNA extraction, RNA handling, RT-qPCR, and sequencing protocols
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field, along with five years of
industry experience with handling RNA, RNA extraction and gene expression
Candidate should have molecular biology techniques including DNA/RNA isolation, RT-qPCR and PCR.
Candidates should have experience with RNA sequencing and multiple RNA quantification methods.
Experience with LIMS
Experience with NGS analysis and R is preferred
Experienc with liquidhandling, higher thourhgput extraction/data generation is preferred
