A NC Programmer/Manufacturing Engineer job is available with our client in Salt Lake city, UT. In this role you will be responsible for NC programming using CATIA CPD. You will develop Composite Part Design (CPD) definition, producibility, and 2D engineering / flat patterns for detail parts. To be considered for this role, you will have a B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering OR 5+ years in a comparable role.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develops Composite Part Design (CPD) definition, producibility, and 2D engineering / flat patterns for detail parts
* Supports creation and review of manufacturing plans to ensure compliance with design requirements and company processes
* Participates in the review, approval, and release process of engineering definition
* Supports components throughout full lifecycle from prototype to final acceptance
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering OR
* 5+ years in a comparable role
* Aerospace industry experience
* CATIA V5
* CATIA CPD (Composites Workbench)
* Experience with Laser Projection
* Experience with Pattern Cutting
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience with FiberSIM , TruNEST ,CATIA AME (CNC Machining Package) ,VeriCUT , AutoCAD , WindChill
Aligned Vison or FARO Lasers Systems and/or NX
