Job Title: Site Network Engineer
Pay: $68-$105/ DOE
Location- Remote- with some site visit Berkeley
Contract -3 + months
Hours can differ weekly based on projects
A Site Network Engineer job opportunity is open with our client in Berkeley, CA. In this role you will be responsible for communicating with install and software teams to review documentation plans to build out sites. To be considered for this role you will have some field experience with networks (i.e. Cisco, AT&T, Fiber background, aggregation networks)
Site Network Design Engineer
* Fiber termination layout planning
* Linux background
* Experience with HSR and ERPS switch technology
* Fiber patch panels
* Site network planning
* Selection of rugiterized network devices
* Experience with MPLS and MACSec
* Experience with TSN
* Selection of rugiterized GPS and timesync sources
* Documentation development for installation and service personnel
* Design for serviceability
* Opensource
