Job Summary
Client Enidine is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to lead and drive strategic supplier quality initiatives. This role is responsible for managing critical supplier relationships, leading complex MRB and audit activities, and driving systemic improvements across the supply base in alignment with business and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Support Material Review board (MRB) activities, including:
o Investigate supplier rejections
o Manage SCAR"s
o Coordinating return-to-vendor (RTV) activities
o Tracking corrective action status
* Serve as primary quality owner for high-risk suppliers.
* Review and disposition supplier deviations in collaboration with engineering and operations.
* Manage assigned suppliers within the Approved Supplier List (ASL)
* Lead supplier audits and on-site assessments
* Drive supplier performance improvements using scorecards and metrics
* Assist supervision in establishing and maintaining supplier performance metrics and reports
* Support supplier onboarding and development.
* Review FAI submissions and ensure compliance with requirements.
* Assist suppliers with development of control plans/inspection plans
* Mentor SQEs and inspectors and influence cross-functional teams
* Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives impacting DPPM, OTD, Scrap and cost
* Ensure robust flow-down and compliance with customer-specific and regulatory requirements
* Other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Skills:
* Bachelor"s degree in engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
* 5-10 years of supplier quality experience in manufacturing a plus.
* Strong Expertise in AS9100, auditing, RCCA, and risk management
* Auditor certification a plus.
* Proven ability to lead supplier improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
