JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Create 3D models of new designs utilizing PTC Creo
* Developing and documenting functional requirements and translating into detail design documents
* Overseeing the efforts of drafting teams to create any manufacturing drawings related to your designs.
* Perform needed analysis activities to aid in development and refinement of designs.
* Participating in and supporting proposal preparation, cost estimates, and technical reports.
* Communicate technical information to team members, other engineering teams and suppliers
* Develop technical documentation for operation of new tools.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelors degree in engineering (mechanical engineering preferred)
* Proficiency in application of PTC Creo or other parametric 3D modeling and/or simulation tools
* Experience with design and development of product tooling for service applications
* Experience maintaining or operating heavy equipment
* Experience with modeling/designing in 3d parametric modeling software (i.e. Creo, Inventor, Solidworks, etc.)
* Experience with application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
* Mechanical print reading and/or drafting experience
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Good organizational and time management practices
* Ability to work within a team or independently
* Good critical thinking skills
* Experience with various analytical/simulation tools (i.e. Finite Element Analysis, Bolted Joint Analysis, Tolerance Stack-ups, etc.) is desired
