Areas of Expertise:
Analysis, research, and development of structural engineering specification for product design or operation of product.
Thermal Analysis, Linear and non-linear structural analysis, Lifing analysis (fatigue, creep); ANSYS
Basic knowledge of heat transfer and fluid mechanics is required. Familiarity with CFD is an asset
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute structural/stress, thermal and lifing analysis of component/system designs.
Use available 3D finite element stress analysis tools to optimize the quality of the component or system design to ensure its structural integrity.
Determine test objectives on rig/test cell hardware and instrumentation.
Participate in generic research programs to improve component life and durability and to develop new technology.
Work with integrated product teams (IPT) in all stages from design to production.
Presenting in design reviews, participating in IPTs, Support to STO through QN dispositions
Required Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor"s / Master"s degree with 2 to 3 years experience.
The candidate should have strong technical skills in the area of expertise mentioned above, adaptable (Flexibility) to work long hours (weekends) when required, should be a team player, should be good in communication (writing and oral), Good listener.
