MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Coordinate the development, implementation and maintenance of corporate and plant level procedures, work instructions and records to comply with Quality Policy Manual and customer expectations including performing or assigning all auditing responsibilities.
2. Ensure corrective actions are addressed in a timely manner.
3. Complete all testing requirements & appropriate documentation as required by customers.
4. Monitor rejected / non-conforming material and customer returned goods and provide the appropriate reports & documentation to customer, supplier and management.
5. Ensure that rejected material is sorted and analyzed; provide corrective actions where appropriate.
6. Act as a customer & supplier liaison where required.
7. Report month end quality reports to appropriate corporate contact(s).
8. Assist in reporting, tracking, and determining disposition of rejection material, PPAP, APQP
9. Product Test Measurement data collection, entry, and analysis (graphical & statistical); using MS Excel & Minitab.
10. Calibration of measuring and other lab equipment. Prepare SOP and work instructions for production line.
11. Reinforce a quality culture that includes generation and maintenance of quality processes, systems, and standards
12. Ensure execution of all Quality Assurance tasks through the production process in accordance with internal procedures, and customer directed requirements. Visit customer site as needed.
13. Complete other job duties related to quality as required.

Qualifications / Requirements:
· 4-year University educational degree in materials or chemicals field preferred. 3+ Manufacturing Quality Work Experience will be considered.
· Good Communication Skills (listening, verbal, reading, & written).
· Basic Mathematical Skills; familiarity with the Imperial and Metric System.
· Computer literacy; sound knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, & MS Office including MS Excel. Ideally, prior experience with statistical software (Minitab) & SAP is an asset.
· Prior training in & experience with, Continuous Improvement, 5S, MSA, SPC, FMEA, Control Plan, APQP, PPAP.
· Must have valid driver license and vehicle to travel to customer visit.
