We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead continuous improvement and machine relocation projects from planning through execution. This role is responsible for driving projects to completion within established timelines while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders. The ideal candidate is adaptable, solutions-oriented, and capable of navigating challenges independently while knowing when to escalate issues appropriately.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage improvement and equipment relocation projects from concept through completion
* Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to leadership
* Participate in daily Tier meetings to communicate progress, priorities, and planned activities
* Coordinate with internal teams, management, and external contractors to align on priorities and timelines
* Develop machine layouts and future-state plans using 3D CAD tools
* Create and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project or similar planning software
* Identify risks, remove roadblocks, and adjust plans to keep projects on track
* Prioritize tasks and sequence work effectively to meet project deadlines
* Ensure project outcomes align with customer and business requirements
Core Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience managing projects from planning through execution in a manufacturing enviornment
* Proficiency with MS Project
* CAD skills. Siemens NX, SolidWorks, and/or AutoCAD
* Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional and diverse teams
* Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
* Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
* Experience with CNC programming using Siemens NX.
* Experience developing or modifying post processors from Siemens NX to machine language.
* Experience supporting machining operations in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
