Overview:
Belcan is seeking a Procurement Associate that will support day‑to‑day purchasing activities for an ongoing program, ensuring timely and accurate execution of transactional procurement tasks. This role is responsible for purchase order creation, order tracking, supplier coordination, and ERP system updates while maintaining close communication with suppliers and internal receiving and warehouse teams. The ideal candidate has hands‑on purchasing experience, strong organizational and follow‑up skills, and thrives in a fast‑paced, execution‑focused environment. This is a contract position with potential for extension and possible remote support for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform day‑to‑day transactional procurement activities, including supplier coordination and order execution
* Manage the full purchase order lifecycle, including PO creation, order tracking, expediting, and ERP system maintenance
* Collaborate closely with suppliers and internal receiving and warehouse teams to support on‑time delivery and inventory accuracy
Required Qualifications:
* 2+ years in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain
* ERP or procurement system experience
* Strong organization, follow up, and communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* U.S. citizenship required due to the nature of the work
Preferred Qualifications:
* Manufacturing or operations environment experience
* Supplier expediting and fast paced execution background
* Ability and willingness to obtain a security clearance

Salary guidelines for similar roles at Belcan are $35.00-$38.00 per hour.
