A Fluids and Lube components Engineer job opportunity is currently available through Belcan Mexico. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need to have 4 - 8 years of experience and a bachelor"s degree in mechanical engineering preferably. As fluids and lube engineer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including gas turbine hardware ownership and management.
The fluids and lube engineer relies on the experience acquired to solve aerospace company complex externals systems engineering problems. It is required to use knowledge and skills to review fluids and lube hardware systems and sub-systems requirements and support design changes, being full owner/responsible of the change in all the design cycle.
Fluids and Lube Engineer Job Duties:
· Interface with suppliers for developing gas turbine externals hardware and systems for aerospace engines.
· Management of owned externals hardware and systems for aerospace engines.
· Understanding and reviewing technical specifications and drawings.
· Addressing quality/manufacturing actions for gas turbine externals hardware.
· Addressing change in design actions for gas turbine externals hardware related to fluids and lube.
· Capable of presenting technical material to review boards.
· Clearly communicate identify and communicate technical issues with teammates and co-workers and customer.
Qualifications:
· BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
· 4+ years of fluids and lube components design or related systems experience for aerospace industry.
· Understanding of component design and process, qualification and/or certification.
· Understanding of requirements for gas turbine fluids and lube external components.
· Experience with supplier management.
· Capable of both independent and team-oriented work tasks.
· Self-motivated, adaptable, highly organized and possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Experience with the Aerospace industry is desired.
· Highly skilled in techniques related to solving problems such as TOPS8D and fully skilled in RCA.
