Job Title: Senior Aerospace Advisor
Location: Hybrid - This position is required to be in the Belcan office 3-4 days/ week

Belcan is seeking a Senior Aerospace Advisor job to work for our Aerospace client in Querétaro, México. The Senior Aerospace Advisor will apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications. Assignments involve technical leadership of teams of engineers and designers to accomplish project tasks. Tasks may be small projects or portions of larger projects. Must possess good communication skills and strong leadership abilities in Spanish and English.
Job Duties:
* Leads team in the development of project scope, or develops it independently according to customer needs
* Provides technical direction to the project team according to customer requirements.
* Interprets the project scope through the development of equipment design, layouts or descriptions.
* Identifies problem areas and provide action plans.
* Assists Project Manager and Discipline Leaders in the development of the Project Control Documents.
* Coordinates between disciplines, vendors, and field.
* Takes lead in designing, specifying and procuring of project major equipment.
* May fill Project Manager or discipline lead role.
* Establishes liaison with client, determining client requirements and assures that all design data, criteria and conditions affecting the design of the plant are issued to and understood by the members of the project team.
* Acts as prime technical resource for the project.
* Reviews and monitors all design and analyses activities related to assigned programs
Required Qualifications:
* A Bachelors" degree in a related field.
* A minimum of 15 years" Aerospace related experience.
* Full understanding of GE Aviation Engineering tools and procedures.
* Full knowledge at senior level of GE Aviation Design Practices and Finite Element Procedures.
* Spanish/English bilingual.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
* Deep knowledge of Externals Engineering design and analyses.
* Deep knowledge of Turbomachinery mechanism Engineering design and analyses.
