JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Climbing and sampling of storage tanks and LPG's
· Utilizing various sampling equipment on the job
· Working with sample compositor systems
· Utilizing Fresh Air SCBA system to sample sour tanks
· Driving to terminals for sample pickup each shift
· Bottle room and sample retain/disposal maintenance
· Ability to work alone as well as in a team
· Practices good interpersonal skill sets daily; including communication, listening, teamwork and leadership
· Takes responsibility for tasks, quality, and accuracy and is accountable for those responsibilities
· Responsible for the safety/health of self and those working with you, promoting health and safety of others, and performing quality work in a safe and environmentally conscientious manner
· Responsible for complying with Laboratory policies and procedures, company policies and procedures, established standards, and governmental regulations (Federal, State and Local)
· Overtime work required at times
· Ability to understand and carry out work direction in a safe manner
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School Diploma or GED required
· TWIC card for terminal access required
· Valid Driver's license
· Ability to work alone as well as in a team
· Daily work attendance and punctuality
· Ability to work at heights
· Able to work 8-hour shift schedule (days and nights)
· Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictions
· Willing and able to perform and comply with the following items, with or without accommodation
· 2 years experience with petroleum sampling preferred
· Good interpersonal skills including active listening, issue resolution, proactive communication, leadership and teamwork
