We are seeking a Head of Production & Manufacturing Leader for a successful Internet innovation enterprise, providing smart port products and professional services for information interaction, human health/smart medical engineering, and structures using semiconductor displays. This client is creating integrated development of IoT innovation, sensors and solutions, MLED, as well as smart medical engineering. The company operates multiple manufacturing bases across China. Its subsidiaries are located in nearly 20 countries and regions including the United States, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, India, Brazil, the United Arab Emirates, and now in Mexico.
The candidate will be Head of Production at the Tijuana, Mexico factory. This role requires managing a 1,000+ team, overseeing planning, quality & cost, resolving issues and developing the team. *VISA Sponsorship is available for the right candidate.
Job Duties:
- Lead the production team, according to the decomposition of the production plan and detailed scheduling, while monitoring the production progress
- Develop and maintain a strict implementation of process discipline and quality standards for the stability of product quality
- Provide manufacturing process guarantee
- Command and dispatch team to deal with on-site abnormalities, coordinate resources of relevant auxiliary departments, solve bottlenecks in the production process, and ensure the achievement of the plan
- Be responsible for the department's cost control (including labor, accessories, energy consumption, loss, etc.). Conduct analysis of cost differences and promote improvement
- Lead the construction, training, assessment and motivation of the production team. Cultivate the backbone of grass-roots management and multi-skilled workers, and work towards the ongoing improvement of team skills.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field, with 5+ years in direct experience
- 10+ years in manufacturing leadership experience
- Must speak Chinese
- Proficient in Spanish
- At least five years working experience in TV and other related manufacturing production management
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Related Industry experience
- Experience in TV and assembly plant
