Evaluate returned, damaged, or nonconforming components and define appropriate repair paths.
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and GD&T requirements.
Support composite manufacturing processes such as layup, bonding, curing, trimming, assembly, and repair.
Conduct root-cause investigations and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Partner with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve production constraints.
Prepare or support repair instructions, deviations, waivers, concessions, and engineering-change documentation.
Assist with tooling, manufacturing-readiness, and process-development activities.
Apply DFM/DFA and continuous-improvement principles to reduce defects and improve production efficiency.
Manage technical deliverables, schedules, risks, and issue resolution through completion.
Support compliance with AS9100, First Article Inspection, NCR, and configuration-control requirements.
Required Qualifications
Eight or more years of aerospace manufacturing engineering, production support, MRB, or related experience.
Direct experience supporting composite components and manufacturing processes.
Demonstrated experience investigating nonconforming hardware and developing MRB dispositions.
Strong knowledge of composite defects, repairs, rework, and manufacturing-process requirements.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T in accordance with ASME Y14.5.
Experience supporting aerospace production, repair, or sustainment operations.
Working knowledge of root-cause analysis and corrective-action methods.
Experience collaborating with manufacturing and quality teams in a production environment.
Ability to manage technical projects and drive production issues to closure.
Ability to work onsite in Valencia, California.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor"s degree in mechanical, aerospace, manufacturing engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience with Environmental Control Systems, pneumatic systems, thermal-management products, or fluid-control components.
Experience developing composite repair instructions or supporting composite sustainment programs.
