Ideal Candidate:
Mechanical, Aerospace, Electronics Engineering
Undergraduate or Graduate degree
Knowledge of Gas turbine engine fundamentals
Knowledge of aircraft and the aviation industry ecosystem
Skills :
MS-Office tools, Power BI (asset), Matlab (asset)
Experience in the Patenting searching (asset)
Tasks:
Support the mandate of identifying and protecting Intellectual property
Support all change management initiatives
Liaison with technical experts and conduct patent searches and extract findings/summaries.
Work with experienced engineers and support technology harvesting for individuals and groups
Assist in raising invention disclosures for senior staff members
Support invention disclosure reviews
Support new Inventors through the patent filing process
Make, refine and update existing data visualization tools
Participate/contribute/deliver presentations in Engineering.
Contribute to patent portfolio refinement
Maintain department website, dashboards & visualization tools
Identify and lead initiatives on periodic upgrades of tools.
