JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Climbing and sampling of storage tanks and LPG's
· Utilizing various sampling equipment on the job
· Working with sample compositor systems
· Utilizing Fresh Air SCBA system to sample sour tanks
· Driving to terminals for sample pickup each shift
· Bottle room and sample retain/disposal maintenance
· Takes responsibility for tasks, quality, and accuracy and is accountable for those responsibilities
· Responsible for the safety/health of self and those working with you, promoting health and safety of others, and performing quality work in a safe and environmentally conscientious manner
· Responsible for complying with Laboratory policies and procedures, company policies and procedures, established standards, and governmental regulations (Federal, State and Local)
· Overtime work required at times

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictions
· High School Diploma or GED required
· 2 years experience with petroleum sampling is preferred
· TWIC card for terminal access required
· Valid Driver's license
· Practices good interpersonal skill sets daily; including communication, listening, teamwork and leadership
· Daily work attendance and punctuality
· Ability to work at heights
· Able to work 8-hour shift schedule (days and nights)
· Willing and able to perform and comply with the following items, with or without accommodation:
· Ability to understand and carry out work direction in a safe manner
· Ability to work alone as well as in a team
· Ability to to lift up to 50 pounds
· Ability to dawn SCBA and half-masks when needed
· Ability to work around chemicals, including acids and bases
· Must wear fire retardant clothing and personal protective equipment (such as steel-toed shoes, ear and eye protection)
· Ability to maintain your face daily so that a respirator/face mask can seal properly (some examples include being free of facial hair and/or clean shaven) if applicable
· Ability to work outside in harsh weather conditions
· Ability to work with petroleum products that are under high pressure and heat
